Hello everyone!
I (Kelly) am setting up this blog basically so that Mom, Pop, and I can post on your blogs, so we probably won't post too much on ours. That's probably because it'll take us a while to figure out how to do it anyway and because nothing really happens here. I'll probably post more in the summer though.
So President Hinckley died, so sad. He's really the only prophet I can remember. I'm still sort of inshock, I think. Mom's a little off too. On the way home from church today, she asked me who the President before Hinckley was. Well, like any self-respecting Primary graduate, I sang a little song in my head and said it was Howard W. Hunter. She had no idea.
I think our parents are, well, they're not spring chickens any more.. There was a thing about Alzheimer's on TV, so, of course, we had to talk about it. Then Pop says, "The other day, I was about to turn the water off in the shower, and I couldn't remember if I washed my hair or not. It was really weird." (By the way, this is how conversations go when you're the only child at home with parents who are 50+, just so you know I'm not spoiled.)
So yeah, that's everything exciting that's happened the past few days. That's why we probably won't be posting much.
(P.S. Friday was our 13 year anniversary for living in Washington!!! Yeah!!!!)

Well, here we go!
Hello everyone!
I (Kelly) have set up this blog so that Mom, Pop, and I can post on all your blogs. We probably won't post too much on ours (mostly because it'll take us a while to figure out how), but I'll probably post more during the summer.
So yes, Pres. Hinckley died, so sad. He was really the only prophet I've ever known. I think I'm still sort of in shock over the whole thing. I think he's the only one that Mom thought she'd ever known too. We were driving home and she turns to me and asks me who the prophet before him was. Well, as any practiced primary child would say after a moment of singing a little song in their head, I said Howard W. Hunter. Mom couldn't even think of his name.
So, I think our parents are getting old. There had been something on TV about Alzheimer's, so we were talking about it. Then Pop says, "The other day, I was turning off the water in the shower, and I couldn't remember if I washed my hair or not. It was really weird." (By the way, this is what your conversations at home are like when you're the last child at home with parents that are 50+, just so you don't think I'm being spoiled.)
